1st FAI World Drone Racing Championshipsawarded to Shenzhen | | FAI has chosen Shenzhen, China to host the 1st FAI World Drone Racing Championships in the first half of November 2018.
The FAI Executive Board decided to award the event to Shenzhen after a specially appointed committee evaluated the three qualifying bids from Albuquerque (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Shenzhen (People's Republic of China). FAI President Frits Brink announced the decision at the 111th FAI General Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland.

2nd FAI World Cup of Wingsuit Flying in Overton, USA, 2-8 November 2017 | | The top Wingsuit flyers from around the globe have gathered at Skydive Fyrosity, Overton (Nevada, USA) to compete in one of the most challenging skydiving competitions - the 2nd FAI World Cup of Wingsuit Flying.
From 2 to 8 November, 50-70 athletes from over 17 countries and five continents will test their mental and physical strength against each other to the max. The best skydiver – the fastest, the toughest and the most accurate one will take the gold.

2017 FAI World Fly-in Expo: a mega-event in Wuhan, China | | The first edition of the FAI World Fly-in Expo (WFE) will be held from 4 to 7 November 2017 in Wuhan, China. The event promises to be a mega-event with more than 1000 pilots, athletes, coaches, referees from more than 30 countries to take part in the air shows and competitions. It will feature 788 aircraft - 588 for the air shows and 200 for the exhibition.
