Winners of the 2016 FAI Young Artists Contest revealed | | | The FAI international jury selected the winning paintings of the 2016 FAI Young Artists Contest, a competition which every year honours the best paintings from youngsters in three age categories from 7 to 16 years old. The theme of the contest was “Air Sports in Harmony with Nature”.

The first Red Bull Air Race win for Dolderer – and Germany – in Spielberg! | | On 24 April, Germany’s Matthias Dolderer beat the elements, the obstacles and 13 of the world’s best pilots to become the first German ever to win a Red Bull Air Race event at the second stop of the 2016 season in Spielberg, Austria. Home-country hero Hannes Arch finished second in the snowy Sunday showdown, with Great Britain’s Nigel Lamb in third.
