Nicolas Ivanoff Wins Red Bull Air Race Abu Dhabi

Red Bull Air Race

France’s Nicolas Ivanoff blazed through the pylons to victory in a hotly contested competition at the Red Bull Air Race in Abu Dhabi today.

Ivanoff's time of 58.550 was barely a tenth of a second faster than Matthias Dolderer of Germany, who was in second place (58.660). 

François Le Vot of France, who is beginning only his second season and was ranked 14th in 2015, captured third place with 1:02.281.

Hannes Arch is a former Red Bull Air Race World Champion. He took hang gliding aged 15 and became an expert paraglider acro pilot before turning to powered aerobatics.
